On Saturday August 18th, the U10 and U11 Girls TSA (TDYSL) teams, along with the U13 Boys TSA (TDYSL) team, participated in the opening ceremonies for TFC. The girls escorted the players onto the field and the boys acted as flag bearers.

During rehearsals, TFC let the teams in on a surprise visit from Olympians Diana Matheson and Robyn Gayle. The players were thrilled to stand on the field among their new heroes.

Participating in events like this is a fantastic bonding experience. Coaches, Tony Ferreira, David Silva and Liz Figueira are to be commended for their hard work in putting this event together. Over 200 people from EYSC teams participated. The coaches would like to thank the TFC, parents, players and sponsors.
